No-Charge Terminal Placement: This is when a representative chooses to place a terminal, software, or payment-processing gateway at a merchantís location without charging the merchant any up front costs or equipment fees.

The No-Charge Terminal Program is very popular with merchants because they are excited about not having to pay any fees for the terminal. The sales representative has the merchant sign a one-page agreement that allows the merchant to use the terminal of their choice for processing payments. WPS offers a wide selection of No-Charge terminals and software for merchants to allow them to accept credit card, debit, and checks. Once the representative submits the No-Charge terminal form, WPS programs and ships the merchant a terminal or software package to their location pre-programmed and ready to process transactions. The representative follows up with the merchant to go over the quick reference guide and terminal operation ensuring the merchant knows how to contact customer service.

Once the account is activated the representative is paid an Up-Front commission based upon the merchantís Visa and MasterCard volume.

Reprogram: This is when a representative uses the merchantís existing equipment for processing. The sales representative notes the type of terminal on the merchant application and WPS builds a program specifically suited to meet the merchantís business type. The sales representative contacts the merchant after approval to download the terminal. The approval process usually takes 24-hours after which the representative goes back to the merchantís business and our technical support department walks the representative through the download of the terminal and training of the merchant step by step until the process is completed. After the download the merchantís terminal will be processing all transactions with WPS.The sales representative is paid an up-front commission based upon the merchantís Visa and MasterCard volume.

The Lease Program is a great way for a representative to earn a higher commission. The merchant signs a non-cancellable lease usually for a 48-month term. Leasing allows a representative to offer the merchant a full-featured-solution with no up front cost. A lease usually includes a terminal, check imager, pin-pad and gift card program. The sales representative has the merchant sign a four-page faxable agreement that allows the merchant to lease the full-system of their choice for processing payments.
